Our student teams will include students from a variety of subject areas with expertise in marketing/market research, business development, data analytics, operations management, information systems, accounting and finance. The diversity of perspectives and education will provide businesses with a uniquely beneficial consulting experience. Given our students' backgrounds, the example projects below are flexible, based on the depth and scope of your project needs.
The organizations need only present their real-world business problems and groups of approximately 5 students will work on for the term.
Engagement between students and sponsors is customizable, with a one-hour per week by the company to ensure project progress. All students work virtually so sponsor/company locations are flexible!
Learners
The final project deliverables could include:
• Final project report presentation and supporting documents from the student team (via a virtual webinar format)

Requirements
(1) Market Research:
• Research a target market sent and/or consumer base for insights into best practices and marketing potential.
• Provide comparative analysis for a given market against other similar entities.
(2) Business Development Planning:
• Develop a project plan to identify an aspect of your firm’s current practices.
• Research and recommend additional business opportunities
(3) Data Analytics:
• Compiling, cleaning, analyzing data relevant to your business and your goals.
• Research on data tools and recommendations for how to automate, collect, house, and/or improve your future/ongoing analytics processing needs.
(4) Accounting and Finance:
- Analyze financial statements, utilize different methods of accounting for non-profit and government organizations, value a busin
- Support costs analysis, pricing and revenue optimization
5) Operations Management:
- Optimize processes, costs and key performance measures
- Support entry into new markets, channels, new product development and supply chain management
