Dr. Silvie MacLean is a Professor/Course Leader within the Post Graduate Health Systems Management Program, School of Information Technology at Fanshawe College. Previous to working in education, Silvie has twenty-four years of experience leading interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders within healthcare. This included working in diverse executive administrative leader positions such as a Program Manager across the acute care division within the Ontario Provincial Service and Ontario hospitals as the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Strategy Officer or Senior Director of Quality Assurance using improvement science to facilitate change. Silvie is also an active Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA CMA) working in the community, volunteering on varied not-for-profit Boards as the Chair and Treasurer.
