Full-time education student, part-time employee in a customer service role. I have worked a variety of public-facing roles over the past 10 years, ranging from a furniture store to a mini-golf facility to selling luxury cosmetics. I have grown a great deal across these positions and am proud to say I am very confident in the skills that I have developed thus far.
Currently, I would like to work on expanding into writing professionally. It is something I have always enjoyed, and my people skills, my salesmanship and my nearly three years of university in a writing-heavy degree taken together make me a perfect candidate for copywriting. That being said, I am flexible and open to all types of opportunities.

Research and Writing Assistant
The research/writing assistants will support the research initiatives under the guidance of the Director and Manager, both who are PhD qualified. Our organization is having its 60th Anniversary next year and we are preparing a social history book about the Cosmopolitan Music Society and community band and choral music in Alberta.
Cosmopolitan Music Society Archive and Writing project
The main goal of this project is to create an in-house archive and storage system for the Cosmopolitan Music Society of Edmonton. This will include preparing documentation listings of textual, photographic and music materials, creating literature reviews and annotated bibliographies, and working with the director and manager to prepare materials for the manuscript.

Additionally, responsible for keeping department clean, faced and operational according to each brand's visual standards as well as company protocol. High traffic location - skilled in managing the flow of customers and handling customer concerns in a timely fashion.

Highest volume store in the city - hired as a seasonal cashier and was chosen to stay on past the three-month probationary period and trained into a more specialized role focused on sales and client experience. Extremely fast-paced environment which stressed consistent growth and a strong abilty to communicate, work well with others and perform under pressure.
