Project #Voice — A Choose-Your-Reality Healing Game
The Path: An Agent of Change, Inc. seeks to develop "Healing Narratives," a choice-driven narrative game that transforms lived stories into interactive experiences. This project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16, focusing on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies. Learners will engage in UX research, ensuring ethical considerations are at the forefront, and will design a narrative that is both engaging and healing. The game will be prototyped using tools like Twine, Construct, or Figma, emphasizing accessibility and inclusivity. The project aims to respect traditional wisdom while integrating modern technology, avoiding negative digital habits like doomscrolling. The ultimate goal is to create a game that can be showcased in classrooms, on the web, and at public events, offering a platform for community-rooted, trauma-informed storytelling. The objective is to transform community testimony into an interactive game that teaches conflict navigation, peacebuilding, and self-efficacy. Goals: Ethically collect and translate real stories into branching narratives, Build an accessible playable prototype, Document a trauma-informed design playbook, and Produce measurable learning outcomes tied to SDG 16 (empathy, de-escalation skills, procedural justice literacy).

Mystical Emotions Podcast Production
Since art projects are a powerful medium for storytelling and connection, our studio seeks to capitalize on this by creating a unique artistic experience through a visual series. In this project, students will collaborate with us to produce an impactful photo and video series that resonates deeply with our target audience. We envision students delivering a 7-part visual series titled Mystical Emotions , which will explore identity, empowerment, and cultural storytelling through Afrocentric aesthetics and creative expression. This project will involve several key steps for the students, including: Collaborating with the project manager to conceptualize a cohesive theme for the visual series, as well as individual themes for each set. Designing and scripting elements of each set , including the introduction, narrative flow, call to action, and closing statements. Creating visual assets for the project, such as digital promotional content and on-set visuals (e.g., cover art or posters). Researching and planning the storytelling elements and cultural themes that will be highlighted in each set. Executing the project by photographing and filming each of the seven sets, with attention to artistic detail and storytelling techniques. Facilitating special guest collaborations , such as interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, or artist contributions to enhance the narrative. This project not only provides hands-on experience for students but also contributes to a meaningful body of work that explores cultural identity, challenges societal norms, and leaves a lasting artistic legacy.
